The Hague and surroundings
The Hague is the seat of the Dutch government and lies on the coast, with Scheveningen and Kijkduin by the sea. It has many town houses and portiek flats (apartments off a shared stairwell) from around 1900, post-war districts such as Mariahoeve and Moerwijk, and new-build districts such as Ypenburg and Leidschenveen.
If you live close to the coast, mention it for outdoor work: sea wind, sand and salt can affect the choice of paint and materials. In a portiek flat, work on the facade, the stairwell or the roof is usually a matter for the VvE (the owners' association).
With a job in Rijswijk, Voorburg, Leidschendam, Wassenaar, Delft, Zoetermeer or Naaldwijk you're welcome here too: what counts is whether your address falls within the radius of a bathroom fitter, not which municipality it's in.
How your job reaches a bathroom fitter in The Hague
When a bathroom fitter signs up, they choose a working area: a radius around their work address, measured in a straight line. If your job in The Hague falls within that radius and they offer the trade and service of your job, they see your job and can send you a proposal.
AlMijnKlussen is new, so we can't promise how many proposals you'll get: that depends on the bathroom fitters who have signed up with The Hague in their working area. Posting is free and without obligation.
What to put in your job description
- Whether it's a complete renovation or one part, such as the shower, the toilet or the washbasin.
- The dimensions of the bathroom: length, width and height.
- Whether you buy the tiles and fittings yourself or the professional supplies them.
- Photos of the current bathroom, and an example of what you want.
- Whether pipes or the drain need to be moved.
- Which floor the bathroom is on.

Frequently asked questions
Who sees my address?
Professionals see the town of your job and a rough spot on the map (to within about a kilometre), never your exact address. You share your full address yourself — only when you want to, with the professional you choose.
Do I have to buy the tiles and sanitaryware myself?
That's up to you. Say in your description what you already have or would like to buy yourself, so professionals can take it into account in their proposal.
