Nijmegen and surroundings
Nijmegen calls itself the oldest city in the Netherlands and lies on the river Waal. On the north side of the river, around Lent, the Waalsprong has been built, a large new-build area, while the neighbourhoods around the centre have many pre-war homes.
If you live in Lent or elsewhere on the north side of the Waal, the river lies between you and the centre. For matching, that makes no difference: a professional's radius is measured in a straight line from their work address, so professionals from the other side can see your job too.
With a job in Beuningen, Wijchen, Groesbeek, Malden, Elst, Ubbergen or Bemmel you're welcome here too: what counts is whether your address falls within the radius of a builder, not which municipality it's in.
How your job reaches a builder in Nijmegen
When a builder signs up, they choose a working area: a radius around their work address, measured in a straight line. If your job in Nijmegen falls within that radius and they offer the trade and service of your job, they see your job and can send you a proposal.
AlMijnKlussen is new, so we can't promise how many proposals you'll get: that depends on the builders who have signed up with Nijmegen in their working area. Posting is free and without obligation.
What to put in your job description
- What you want: an extension, a renovation, removing a wall, bricklaying or insulation.
- The dimensions, and a sketch or building drawing if you have one.
- The year the house was built.
- Whether there is already a permit or structural calculation, or whether that still needs to be done.
- Photos of the current situation, inside and outside.
- Whether you'll keep living in the house during the work.

Frequently asked questions
Who sees my address?
Professionals see the town of your job and a rough spot on the map (to within about a kilometre), never your exact address. You share your full address yourself — only when you want to, with the professional you choose.
Which service should I choose to have a wall knocked through?
Choose ‘Wall removal & structural work’. Mention whether it is a load-bearing wall if you know, and add a photo and the measurements. If a structural calculation is still needed, you can post a separate job for that with the service ‘Structural calculation (engineer)’.
